As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the financial management of construction projects from inception to completion. You will ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, maintaining strict control over costs and contracts. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and control project costs, preparing regular budget reviews and financial forecasts.
- Prepare and evaluate tenders, bills of quantities (BOQ), and contracts.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory bodies to resolve queries.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Process payments and verify claims from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and variance analysis for management.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or a related role.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations (JKR standards) and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software, Primavera P6, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a focus on detail.
- Valid professional membership (e.g., QSA Malaysia) is preferred.
