Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for various interior design and construction projects.
- Evaluate tenders, negotiate with contractors and suppliers, and prepare comprehensive tender reports for client review.
- Administer contracts, including preparing interim valuations, processing progress payments, and managing variations and claims.
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring all financial aspects align with project objectives and company standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning to advise on optimal material selection and construction methods.
- Prepare and finalize project final accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters, procurement strategies, and cost-saving initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the interior design, construction, or property development sector.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and local building regulations in Malaysia.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
- Registered or working towards professional accreditation with a relevant body (e.g., RICS, BQSM) is an advantage.
