We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Makassar. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency across our construction sites. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will act as the financial backbone of our projects, working closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to maintain strict budgetary compliance while delivering high-quality construction standards. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial cost planning and tender documentation to final account settlement. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the technical expertise to optimize project resources effectively.
Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and verify work performed against project specifications.
- Manage subcontractor contracts, including negotiations, progress claims, and final payments.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, cost-to-complete analyses, and budget forecasting for stakeholders.
- Identify potential cost savings and risk mitigation strategies to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and plant costs to ensure accurate project accounting.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to source cost-effective materials without compromising project quality.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of professional work experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Control role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in project estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
- Willingness to be stationed in Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan.
