A Star Advanced Technologies Sdn Bhd is looking for a dynamic Quote Analyst to join our team in Bukit Mertajam. In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between our operations and international suppliers, ensuring cost-efficiency and precision in every Request for Quotation (RFQ) process.
You will manage the end-to-end quotation lifecycle, from initial inquiry to final cost comparison and data analysis across our Asia and US markets. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end Request for Quotation (RFQ) process from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate closely with global suppliers across Asia and the US to obtain accurate and timely pricing.
- Conduct thorough quotation analysis and cost comparisons to identify the most competitive solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive cost summary reports to support procurement management decisions.
- Ensure all quotation data is accurately entered and maintained in the ERP/purchasing system.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimize purchasing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve pricing discrepancies and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement, sales administration, or quotation analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for international supplier interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multi-time-zone environment (Asia/US).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume data tasks accurately.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple RFQs simultaneously.
