Are you a detail-oriented designer with a passion for furniture engineering? Katwara is seeking a skilled R&D Drafter to join our product development team in Gresik. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative concepts and manufacturing reality, ensuring our high-quality upholstery and furniture designs are translated into precise, production-ready technical documentation.
You will play a critical role in our R&D lifecycle, collaborating closely with design and production teams to optimize structural integrity, material usage, and aesthetics. The ideal candidate is an expert in 3D modeling and 2D drafting who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed 3D models and precise 2D technical drawings for upholstery and furniture products.
- Convert conceptual sketches into manufacturing-ready specifications using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to troubleshoot technical issues during the prototyping phase.
- Maintain and organize an accurate library of CAD files, bill of materials (BOM), and technical documentation.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure product feasibility, ergonomics, and cost-efficiency.
- Analyze and refine existing designs to optimize material usage and production speed.
- Stay updated with industry trends in furniture design and modern manufacturing technologies.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience as a Drafter, specifically in the furniture or interior design industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (3D) and AutoCAD (2D).
- Strong understanding of furniture construction, upholstery techniques, and materials.
- Ability to interpret complex technical specifications and architectural drawings.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet tight production deadlines.
