TE Connectivity is looking for a driven R&D / Product Development Intern to join our RF-Antenna Hardware team in Perai, Penang. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global technology leader, working on innovative antenna solutions that power modern communication systems.
As an intern, you will work alongside senior R&D engineers to support the full product development lifecycle. From design and simulation to prototyping and performance testing, you will gain deep insights into high-frequency hardware engineering. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the design and optimization of RF/Antenna components using industry-standard simulation software.
- Support the R&D team in prototype fabrication and hardware assembly processes.
- Conduct performance testing and data collection using specialized laboratory equipment (e.g., Vector Network Analyzers).
- Document test results, design changes, and technical specifications for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve hardware integration challenges.
- Analyze simulation reports to suggest design improvements and enhance signal efficiency.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to brainstorming sessions for next-gen products.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of RF theory, electromagnetic fields, and antenna fundamentals.
- Exposure to simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, or ADS is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Office suite for reporting.
- Good communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a technical team.
- Highly motivated, curious, and willing to learn in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Ability to commit to an internship duration of at least 3 months.
