Tanggung Jawab
- Compute and prepare accurate import/export rates and quotations for clients based on shipping volume and destination.
- Analyze shipping schedules, freight costs, and carrier rates to ensure competitive pricing.
- Communicate effectively with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and agents to secure the best deals.
- Review and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to resolve pricing inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Update and maintain an organized database of rates, historical data, and client records.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for process improvement.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in import/export, freight forwarding, or logistics management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex shipping data and pricing structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data calculation and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with international trade terms (Incoterms) and customs regulations is a plus.
