Are you a persuasive communicator with a knack for conflict resolution and financial management? We are looking for a dedicated Recovery Officer to join our team in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be the bridge between our organization and our customers, ensuring financial obligations are met through professional, empathetic, and effective communication.

As a Recovery Officer, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, identifying outstanding payments and working closely with customers to negotiate repayment plans. The ideal candidate is resilient, goal-oriented, and capable of maintaining composure under pressure while upholding the highest standards of customer service and professional ethics.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Proactively contact customers via telephone and email regarding overdue accounts.
  • Negotiate realistic repayment plans that align with company guidelines and customer capability.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection efforts and customer interactions in our CRM.
  • Follow up on broken payment promises to ensure account rectification.
  • Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements concerning debt collection practices in Malaysia.
  • Provide regular reports on collection progress and aging account status to management.
  • Address and resolve customer queries or disputes regarding their accounts in a timely manner.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum SPM or Diploma in any relevant field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in debt collection, credit control, or a high-volume call center environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
  • Proven ability to handle challenging conversations and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity, punctuality, and attention to detail.
