Tanggung Jawab
- Sort recyclable materials such as plastic, metal, paper, and glass by type on a conveyor belt or sorting line.
- Inspect materials to identify and remove contaminants or non-recyclables to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the sorting area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental guidelines, including the use of protective equipment.
- Assist in baling, compacting, or preparing sorted materials for shipment to recycling facilities.
- Monitor sorting equipment for jams or malfunctions and promptly report issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to continuously improve skills and processes.
Kualifikasi
- No previous recycling or sorting experience required — full training will be provided.
- Positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn new tasks.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting of materials.
- Physical stamina and comfort performing manual labour in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to the full-time schedule.
- Team player who communicates effectively and works well with others.
- Willingness to work in a warehouse or industrial setting and follow all safety rules.
