Jebsen & Jessen is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Regional Product Engineer to join our innovative engineering team in Shah Alam. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating advanced automation systems that directly address real-world customer needs and enhance operational efficiency. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about pushing the boundaries of engineering excellence.
As a key member of our technical team, you will lead the engineering lifecycle from initial concept and feasibility studies through to final commissioning and deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsâincluding R&D, manufacturing, and salesâto ensure that our automation solutions are not only technically superior but also cost-effective and scalable. Your work will play a critical role in optimizing our product portfolio and delivering exceptional value to our global clients.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop comprehensive automation solutions tailored to specific customer requirements and industry standards.
- Integrate and test automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and robotics, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide detailed engineering specifications and cost estimates.
- Troubleshoot complex engineering issues during the design and implementation phases to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and installation guides.
- Travel to client sites and regional offices as needed to support project deployment and technical support.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related technical field).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, product development, or a similar technical role.
- Proficiency in programming languages and software such as Siemens TIA Portal, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation protocols, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for project support and regional collaboration.
