ACLC College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Librarian to join our team at the AMACC Legaspi campus. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the library, ensuring that our learning resources are organized, accessible, and utilized to their full potential. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about education and information management to provide essential research and reference support to our diverse student body and faculty.
As a Registered Librarian, you will serve as the intellectual hub of the campus, helping students navigate complex research topics and supporting faculty with their academic resource needs. You will oversee the acquisition, cataloging, and maintenance of the library collection while fostering an environment that encourages learning and inquiry. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee all library operations, including circulation, shelving, and inventory control.
- Provide expert research assistance and reference services to students, faculty, and staff.
- Organize and catalog new learning resources and textbooks using standard library systems.
- Conduct library orientations and information literacy sessions for new students.
- Assist in the acquisition process for new library materials and subscriptions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming library environment conducive to study.
- Utilize library management software to track user activity and resource availability.
Kualifikasi
- Must hold a valid Licensed Registered Librarian (RL) certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science (LIS) or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in an academic or institutional library setting.
- Strong proficiency in library automation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service and user support.
- Applicant must be willing to work in Legazpi City, Albay.
