Tanggung Jawab
- Provide comprehensive, high-standard nursing care to renal patients, including those undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and accurately document all observations and interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Operate and monitor dialysis machines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper functionality and patient safety during treatment sessions.
- Educate patients and their families on kidney disease management, treatment procedures, dietary restrictions, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with nephrologists, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, providing life support and critical care as necessary.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid SRN (State Registered Nurse) Certificate or a Diploma/Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and be fully registered with the Malaysia Nursing Board.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in renal nursing, nephrology, dialysis, or a related critical care setting.
- Strong understanding of renal diseases, various dialysis modalities, and relevant nursing procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills to interact effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication.
