We are partnering with a prestigious South European client to build a high-performing squad dedicated to the Market Risk space. This is a unique opportunity to work on mission-critical financial applications that support complex risk assessment and data processing operations.
As a Regular Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, automating, and maintaining robust backend systems. You will collaborate with international teams, bridging the gap between raw data processing and actionable financial insights. If you possess a strong foundation in Python and Java, combined with a knack for shell scripting, we want to hear from you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend services using Python and Java within a Market Risk framework.
- Write efficient shell scripts to automate data pipelines, server tasks, and system deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in South Europe to define technical requirements and architectural solutions.
- Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to clean coding practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring 99.9% uptime for critical financial applications.
- Integrate third-party financial data APIs and ensure secure data handling protocols.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing technical estimates and contributing to project roadmaps.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with Python and Java.
- Proven expertise in Shell Scripting (Bash/Sh) for task automation and system management.
- Strong understanding of financial services or Market Risk domains is a significant advantage.
- Experience with SQL and relational database management (PostgreSQL/Oracle).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, or cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is highly desirable.
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a distributed global team.
