Join Optum's dynamic cybersecurity team as a Remediation Analyst (Endpoint) and play a crucial role in protecting our organization's digital assets. As an Endpoint Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and remediating workstation vulnerabilities across our enterprise environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies and develop expertise in endpoint protection platforms, vulnerability management tools, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
Your work will directly contribute to strengthening our security posture by ensuring that all endpoints are properly patched, secured, and compliant with organizational security policies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT operations, security engineering, and incident response to address security issues in a timely manner. Tanggung Jawab
- Identify, analyze, and remediate workstation vulnerabilities across the enterprise environment
- Monitor endpoint security alerts and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk assessment
- Collaborate with IT operations and security teams to implement security patches and updates
- Document remediation activities and maintain accurate records of security incidents
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing on endpoints
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate vulnerability remediation processes
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in endpoint security, vulnerability management, or IT security
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7
- Familiarity with endpoint protection platforms (EPP) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
- Understanding of network security principles and common attack vectors
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
