- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to the highest standard of quality and presentation.
- Assist in the daily management of the kitchen station, including prep work and mise en place.
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene regulations, safety standards, and HACCP guidelines.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in cost control measures to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to cleaning schedules.
- Contribute to menu development and culinary innovation initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Culinary Diploma or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Demi Chef or Commis Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
- Deep understanding of Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards and high-end culinary service.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards teamwork.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
