Are you a visionary leader with a passion for cosmetic innovation? PT Sumber Kosmetika Indah is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Research and Development (R&D) Manager to join our growing team in Cikande, Banten.
In this pivotal role, you will lead our product development lifecycle—from conceptualization to market launch. You will be responsible for driving the innovation behind our Skincare, Body care, Hair care, PKRT, and Parfum categories. We are looking for a creative expert who can translate global market trends and client needs into high-performance, safe, and commercially viable formulations.
As our R&D Manager, you will mentor a talented team of chemists, oversee laboratory operations, and ensure that all product developments align with the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise the end-to-end R&D process for Skincare, Body care, Hair care, PKRT, and Parfum product lines.
- Analyze global beauty trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for new, innovative product launches.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to fulfill client-specific formulation requirements and project briefs.
- Ensure all product formulations are developed in compliance with BPOM, Halal standards, and relevant safety regulations.
- Optimize existing product formulations to enhance cost-efficiency and performance.
- Manage laboratory workflows, equipment maintenance, and raw material sourcing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the R&D team to foster a culture of innovation and high productivity.
- Conduct stability, efficacy, and compatibility testing to ensure superior product quality.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D or Product Development within the cosmetic or personal care industry.
- Deep understanding of raw material properties, chemical stability, and cosmetic formulation science.
- Proven expertise in developing diverse categories including Skincare, Hair care, and Parfum.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian cosmetic regulations (BPOM) and GMP/CPKB standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional projects.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and creative flair for product innovation.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential.
