In this role, you will be at the forefront of the semiconductor and computing hardware revolution, working on Processing-In-Memory (PIM) architectures and emerging memory technologies. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to high-impact research projects that aim to solve the scaling and energy efficiency challenges of next-generation AI and high-performance computing systems.

As a Research Associate, you will work closely with a team of world-class faculty and researchers. You will be responsible for the end-to-end research lifecycle—from circuit-level design and simulation to hardware prototyping and performance analysis. Tanggung Jawab

  • Conduct advanced research in PIM (Processing-In-Memory) architectures to improve computational efficiency.
  • Develop and evaluate models for emerging memory technologies (e.g., ReRAM, PCM, STT-MRAM).
  • Design, implement, and verify circuits/systems using industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).
  • Perform rigorous performance analysis, including latency, power, and area (PPA) benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate research findings into high-quality academic publications.
  • Assist in the preparation of research grant proposals and technical reports.
  • Mentor junior researchers and students on lab safety and experimental protocols.

Kualifikasi

  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Strong theoretical foundation in computer architecture and digital circuit design.
  • Proficiency in hardware description languages (Verilog or SystemVerilog).
  • Hands-on experience with CMOS circuit simulation and layout tools.
  • Proven track record of research output, including publications in top-tier journals or conferences.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
