The National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow (Qualitative Research) to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multi-phase research projects, navigating institutional ethics approval processes, and synthesizing research findings for both academic publication and policy-oriented reports. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and execute robust qualitative research protocols, including study framework development and data collection strategies.
- Conduct in-depth interviews and focus groups with diverse stakeholder groups to gather high-quality, nuanced data.
- Perform rigorous thematic and content analysis using industry-standard qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, MAXQDA).
- Prepare high-quality research reports, policy briefs, and peer-reviewed journal articles for publication.
- Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure smooth project coordination and adherence to project timelines.
- Manage institutional review board (IRB) submissions and ensure strict compliance with ethics and data privacy standards.
- Present research findings at national and international conferences to enhance the visibility of project outcomes.
- Mentor junior research staff and research assistants on qualitative methodologies and best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting qualitative research in an academic or professional research environment.
- Proficiency in qualitative research methodologies, including grounded theory, phenomenology, or ethnographic approaches.
- Expertise in qualitative analysis software such as NVivo, ATLAS.ti, or MAXQDA.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong track record of academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing collaborative team.
- Proven capability in managing project budgets, timelines, and reporting requirements.
