Mini Circuits is seeking a highly skilled Research & Development Engineer (RF) to join our innovative team in Penang. In this role, you will play a critical part in the lifecycle of next-generation MMIC designs, from conceptualization to final validation.
You will work in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment, utilizing cutting-edge test equipment to push the limits of RF performance. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop advanced RF circuits to meet stringent performance requirements.
- Test and characterize RF performance of MMIC designs using industry-standard equipment.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, methodologies, and automated test scripts.
- Perform complex system calibration and ensure precision in measurement setups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug, refine, and optimize circuit designs.
- Analyze measurement data to provide actionable insights for design iterations.
- Document technical specifications and maintain high quality-assurance standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in RF circuit design or hardware characterization.
- Strong knowledge of RF principles, including S-parameters, impedance matching, and transmission lines.
- Proficiency with RF test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Signal Generators, and Spectrum Analyzers.
- Experience with simulation tools like ADS, AWR, or CST Studio Suite.
- Solid understanding of MMIC packaging and fabrication processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
