Join the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a Research Engineer in the rapidly evolving field of Embodied AI. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to contribute to cutting-edge research that bridges the gap between artificial intelligence and the physical world. In this role, you will work on developing intelligent systems capable of interacting with their environment, including humanoid robots, autonomous mobile robots, and interactive agents.

Your work will involve the design, implementation, and testing of novel algorithms for perception, planning, and control. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement advanced algorithms for Embodied AI, including perception, navigation, manipulation, and task planning.
- Design and conduct experiments using physical robots and high-fidelity simulation environments (e.g., Isaac Gym, PyBullet).
- Collaborate with research scientists and engineers to formulate hypotheses, analyze results, and iterate on models.
- Optimize existing AI models for real-time performance and robustness in dynamic, unstructured environments.
- Contribute to the maintenance and upgrade of laboratory hardware and software infrastructure.
- Write technical documentation and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external publications.
- Stay current with the latest research trends in robotics and deep learning.
Kualifikasi
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and/or C#.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and machine learning libraries.
- Familiarity with robotics middleware (ROS/ROS2) and simulation tools.
- A proven track record of research publication in top conferences (e.g., ICRA, IROS, RSS, CVPR, NeurIPS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
