We are seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer II to spearhead our lab operations and ensure our research facilities remain at the forefront of technological advancement. The successful candidate will take ownership of laboratory infrastructure, oversee sophisticated research equipment, and champion safety standards to support world-class scientific discoveries. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring optimal functionality and a safe working environment.
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of specialized research equipment and instrumentation.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab safety and equipment usage.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for the acquisition and servicing of laboratory assets.
- Provide technical support and training to researchers and students on equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Monitor and manage inventory of research consumables, chemicals, and hazardous waste disposal processes.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment utilization, maintenance logs, and safety audits to ensure institutional compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in laboratory management or research facility operations.
- Strong knowledge of WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations and standards within a research setting.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical equipment and technical systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams including academics, technicians, and industry partners.
- Experience with ISO standards or laboratory accreditation processes is highly desirable.
