Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the research and development of smart connector mechanisms for modular floating breakwater systems.
- Develop and execute advanced numerical simulations using Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) modeling.
- Design and conduct experimental testing in wave flumes and basins to validate structural performance.
- Analyze complex data sets to optimize the hydrodynamic efficiency and structural integrity of connectors.
- Prepare and publish high-quality research manuscripts for submission to Q1 international journals.
- Present research findings at major international conferences and to industry partners.
- Assist in supervising and mentoring PhD students and undergraduate research assistants.
- Manage project documentation, timelines, and reporting requirements for grant compliance.
Kualifikasi
- A PhD in Civil Engineering, Coastal/Ocean Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong background in structural dynamics, hydrodynamics, and marine structural mechanics.
- Proficiency in numerical modeling software such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, OpenFOAM, or SACS.
- Demonstrated experience in experimental wave tank testing and data acquisition systems.
- A proven track record of publishing in high-impact, peer-reviewed engineering journals.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to solving complex engineering problems.
- Strong command of the English language, with exceptional technical writing and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
