Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking a talented Research Fellow (Cryptography) to join our cutting‑edge security research team in Singapore. In this role, you will drive innovative cryptographic research, develop novel protocols, and contribute to high‑impact publications that shape the future of secure communications.
You will have the freedom to design and execute independent research projects, collaborate with leading academics and industry partners, and mentor graduate students. - Design, analyze, and implement advanced cryptographic algorithms and protocols.
- Lead independent research projects aligned with NTU’s security research agenda.
- Publish findings in leading cryptography venues and secure competitive research grants.
- Collaborate with faculty, industry partners, and government agencies on applied security solutions.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students and junior researchers.
- Develop and maintain open‑source cryptographic libraries and demonstrators.
- Participate in department seminars, workshops, and outreach activities.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field with a focus on cryptography.
- Demonstrated expertise in public‑key cryptography, post‑quantum cryptography, or blockchain technologies.
- Strong publication record in top cryptography or security conferences/journals.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Rust for prototyping cryptographic schemes.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with secure protocol design, formal verification, or cryptographic standards is a plus.
- Prior experience supervising students or contributing to funded research projects is advantageous.
