The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a dedicated Research Fellow to join the Energy Studies Institute. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and conduct independent research projects focusing on decarbonisation, energy markets, and socio-economic policies.
- Analyze complex datasets to evaluate the effectiveness of current energy policies and propose evidence-based recommendations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including economists, sociologists, and policy experts, to develop comprehensive research agendas.
- Prepare and publish high-quality academic papers, reports, and articles for both peer-reviewed journals and policy briefs.
- Engage with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and international organisations to disseminate research findings and foster partnerships.
- Assist in the supervision of graduate students and junior researchers, contributing to the academic development of the institute.
Kualifikasi
- A PhD in Energy Economics, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Proven track record of academic or policy research, demonstrated through publications and project leadership.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical software and research methodologies.
- Deep understanding of global energy markets and the socio-political landscape of decarbonisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a university or policy research environment is highly desirable.
