Singapore Management University (SMU), a premier university in Asia, is seeking a high-caliber Research Partnership Manager to join the Office of the Provost on a 6-month contract. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who excels at the intersection of academic research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic project management.
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the development, coordination, and seamless implementation of high-impact research activities across SMU's university-level research institutes. You will act as a bridge between faculty, external partners, and administrative leadership, ensuring that research initiatives align with SMU's strategic vision. Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and facilitate the operational execution of university-level research initiatives and strategic projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for research institutes, fostering collaboration and synergy across interdisciplinary teams.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support research objectives.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure all research milestones are met within the 6-month contract duration.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, briefs, and presentations for the Office of the Provost.
- Streamline administrative workflows and governance processes to improve research output efficiency.
- Provide operational guidance to research staff to ensure compliance with university policies and grant requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Research Management, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in research administration, higher education management, or partnership development.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex research concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in managing research grants or working within a university academic environment is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
