Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and execute organic synthesis projects with a focus on carbohydrate chemistry
- Design and develop synthetic routes for novel carbohydrate derivatives and intermediates
- Purify and characterize compounds using advanced chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques (e.g., HPLC, LC-MS, NMR)
- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to support product development and scale-up
- Document and present research findings to internal stakeholders and external partners
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, environmental, and quality regulations
- Contribute to intellectual property generation through patents and scientific publications
- Mentor junior scientists and interns, fostering a culture of innovation and scientific excellence
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Organic Chemistry, Carbohydrate Chemistry, or a closely related field (Master's degree with significant industrial experience will also be considered)
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in organic synthesis within an industrial R&D environment
- Deep expertise in carbohydrate synthesis, protecting group strategies, and glycosylation reactions
- Proficiency in analytical techniques including NMR, HPLC, LC-MS, and IR spectroscopy
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design experiments and interpret complex data
- Excellent project management capabilities, including managing timelines and resources
- Proven written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
