- Conduct innovative research in artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance energy efficiency and performance of cloud and edge computing systems.
- Design and develop novel algorithms and frameworks for sustainable distributed systems, focusing on resource optimisation and carbon footprint reduction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate research findings into practical, deployable solutions.
- Publish high-quality research articles in top-tier journals and conferences.
- Supervise graduate students and mentor junior researchers.
- Contribute to grant writing and project management activities.
- Present research outcomes at international seminars, workshops, and conferences.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, or a closely related field.
- Strong publication record in top conferences and journals (e.g., AAAI, NeurIPS, ICML, IEEE TPDS).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and edge computing environments.
- Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and optimisation techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural research team.
- Effective written and verbal communication in English.
- Experience in sustainability, green computing, or energy-efficient systems is highly valued.
