Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct rigorous empirical research on topics related to social cohesion, social capital, and multicultural integration.
- Design and implement quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, challenges, and policy implications regarding social stability in the Asia-Pacific.
- Draft high-quality research reports, academic papers, and policy briefs for internal stakeholders and external publications.
- Present research findings at regional and international conferences to enhance the visibility of the Social Cohesion Research Programme.
- Collaborate with senior faculty members to secure research funding and manage ongoing grant-related project milestones.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and public outreach events to facilitate scholarly dialogue on social issues.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s degree or PhD in Sociology, Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related social science discipline.
- Proven track record of academic research excellence, preferably with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, or R) and qualitative analysis tools (e.g., NVivo).
- Strong command of the English language, with excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative, interdisciplinary research team.
- Familiarity with the socio-political landscape of the Asia-Pacific region is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a research-intensive environment.
