KCL Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our prestigious project team at Chuan Grove. As a Resident Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that construction activities are executed in strict accordance with the approved designs, specifications, and safety regulations.
You will act as the primary on-site representative, bridging the gap between design consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil/structural engineering, with a proven track record of managing site operations, resolving technical conflicts, and maintaining the highest standards of quality control. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to facilitate seamless project workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality of workmanship, and safety standard adherence.
- Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions for technical accuracy.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, site diaries, and documentation for submission to stakeholders.
- Manage technical queries (RFI) and provide on-site solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant site supervision experience in high-rise or residential building projects.
- Accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA) standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading structural/architectural drawings and familiarity with BIM software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse project stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet project milestones within tight timelines.
