We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Technical Officer (Mechanical & Electrical) to join our Singapore team and play an integral part in our mission.
As an RTO (M&E), you will be responsible for the supervision of construction works, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with the approved design and specifications. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will be critical in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will meticulously inspect works, coordinate between contractors and design teams, and manage quality control procedures. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and monitor the day-to-day M&E works on site to ensure strict compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of M&E installations, materials, and workmanship, ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Coordinate site activities between contractors, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
- Review and verify M&E shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and as-built records.
- Monitor project progress against the master schedule, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site records, inspection reports, testing and commissioning documentation, and progress reports.
- Facilitate and witness testing and commissioning of M&E systems, ensuring performance complies with design intent.
- Ensure all works comply with the Building Control Act, Singapore Standards, SS codes of practice, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related building services discipline.
- Registered as a Resident Technical Officer with IES/ACES under the Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E supervision on large-scale construction projects (e.g., commercial, institutional, or infrastructure).
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems including HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary, ELV, and Electrical services.
- Familiarity with local authority regulations, Green Mark requirements, and WSH legislation.
- Proficiency in project management software, BIM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- A proactive team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
