Join Herma Shipping & Transport Corporation as a Riding Marine Superintendent and lead our commitment to maritime excellence. This critical role involves planning, implementing, and documenting comprehensive training modules that ensure regulatory compliance, operational safety, and continuous professional development for all onboard personnel. You'll conduct vessel assessments, oversee safety drills, and mentor crew members while maintaining strict adherence to international maritime standards. Your expertise will directly enhance operational efficiency, reduce incident risks, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement across our fleet.
As a key leader in our maritime operations, you'll collaborate with shore-based teams to develop customized training programs addressing navigation protocols, emergency response, and environmental stewardship. The position requires extensive travel and hands-on vessel oversight, making it ideal for professionals passionate about shaping the future of maritime safety and crew competency.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design and execute vessel-specific training programs aligned with STCW, SOLAS, and company standards
- Conduct onboard safety drills, emergency simulations, and competency assessments
- Document training activities, maintenance records, and compliance reports
- Monitor crew performance and identify areas for operational improvement
- Coordinate with shore-based teams for training resource allocation
- Ensure vessels meet flag state and classification society requirements
- Mentor junior officers and promote safety-first culture
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related maritime field
- Valid Chief Mate/Master Mariner license with 5+ years seagoing experience
- ISO 9001/ISO 28000 compliance certification or equivalent
- Proven experience in training program development and delivery
- Strong knowledge of IMO regulations, ISM Code, and industry best practices
- Advanced communication and leadership skills
- Valid First Aid/CPR and firefighting certifications
