Join Grid Vision T&D as an RTU Technician and play a critical role in maintaining Malaysia's power infrastructure. We seek a skilled professional to handle the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Remote Terminal Units (RTU), Field Terminal Units (FTU), and Compact Substations (CSU) across Kajang and surrounding areas. This contract position offers hands-on experience with industrial automation systems while ensuring grid reliability and operational efficiency.
As a key member of our technical team, you'll implement advanced control systems, troubleshoot complex electrical networks, and collaborate with engineers to optimize substation performance. The role requires precision in calibration, adherence to safety standards, and meticulous documentation. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive testing and commissioning of RTU, FTU, and CSU systems
- Install, calibrate, and configure industrial automation equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical control systems and communication networks
- Perform preventive maintenance on substation automation components
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and commissioning reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve system integration issues
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian electrical safety standards and regulations
Kualifikasi
- PW3 or PW4 certification (mandatory)
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in RTU/FTU testing and commissioning
- Proficiency in industrial communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3)
- Strong understanding of substation automation systems
- Experience with diagnostic tools and software
- Valid electrical safety certification
- Ability to work independently in field environments
