Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain ESH policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments for chemical processes and storage facilities.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs for employees and contractors to foster a safety-first mindset.
- Oversee process safety management (PSM) and monitor potential hazards in chemical engineering operations.
- Liaise with external auditors and government regulatory bodies for safety audits and permit renewals.
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation, reporting, and emergency response plans.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an ESH or safety engineering role, preferably within the chemical or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations (e.g., WSH Act) and international chemical safety standards.
- Proven ability to perform hazardous area classification and risk assessments (HIRARC/JSA).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Certified Safety Professional or specialized safety training certifications are highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software tools.
