We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety & Health Assistant (Protege) to support our safety management team at Conlay Construction Sdn Bhd. In this vital role, you will assist the Safety & Health Officer and Supervisor in ensuring that all construction site activities comply with strict safety regulations and industry standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Safety & Health Officer and Supervisor in the daily monitoring and control of all site safety activities.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Monitor the proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all employees and subcontractors.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive safety reports, including accident investigations, near-miss reports, and daily logs.
- Organize and facilitate toolbox talks and safety briefings to raise awareness among the workforce.
- Help manage safety documentation, including permits to work, safety data sheets (SDS), and training records.
- Support the implementation of safety training programs and induction sessions for new hires.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Safety Science, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Valid OSH Certificate or equivalent professional safety qualification.
- Strong understanding of Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) laws and construction safety practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding construction environment and perform regular site visits.
- Proficiency in using computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
