As an OESH Assistant Engineer, you will support our operations by ensuring that all site activities adhere to local safety regulations and international environmental standards. You will work closely with our production and engineering teams to identify hazards, mitigate risks, and promote a culture of safety across our manufacturing processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of OESH policies, procedures, and safety management systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company safety standards.
- Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRARC) activities for new and existing production processes.
- Support the coordination of safety training programs and induction sessions for new employees and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety incidents, near-misses, and environmental metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and documentation for government authorities (e.g., DOSH, DOE).
- Collaborate with department heads to resolve safety non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with Malaysian safety regulations (OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974).
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Certification as a Safety & Health Officer (SHO) or related safety credentials is considered an advantage.
