As a SHE Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the SHE department in implementing, monitoring, and improving our safety management systems. You will work closely with operational teams to foster a proactive safety culture, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations pursuant to the OSHA Act 1994 and FMA Act 1967.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System in compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety patrols, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate and conduct safety induction training, toolbox meetings, and other SHE-related training programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and manage the disposal of scheduled waste and ensure compliance with environmental regulations under the Department of Environment (DOE).
- Maintain and update SHE documentation, records, and statistics, including safety data sheets, incident logs, and audit reports.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external SHE audits, ensuring all necessary evidence is available and up-to-date.
- Promote a positive safety culture across the organization by engaging with staff and management on SHE matters and initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Health & Safety) or a related field.
- Registered with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) as a Safety & Health Officer (SHO) or in the process of registration is an added advantage.
- Possess a valid Green Book (SHO) or Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) from NIOSH.
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, Factory and Machinery Act (FMA) 1967, and Environmental Quality Act 1974.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
