As our Safety Officer 3, you will oversee the implementation of comprehensive occupational health and safety (OHS) programs. You will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, conducting thorough risk assessments, and spearheading initiatives that align with local government regulations and international food safety standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor occupational health and safety (OHS) policies to ensure compliance with DOLE and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and facility audits to identify and mitigate operational hazards.
- Lead incident investigations, prepare detailed root-cause analysis reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Organize and facilitate safety training programs, including fire drills, equipment handling, and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, records of accidents, and compliance permits.
- Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety best practices into daily production and logistics workflows.
- Manage the procurement and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure all staff are properly equipped.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) or COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety role within a manufacturing, food production, or logistics environment.
- Deep understanding of Philippine OSH standards and relevant labor laws.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks before they escalate.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence staff at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety reporting software.
