As a Sales Application & Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating customer inquiries, designing optimized engineering solutions, and compiling highly persuasive technical and commercial proposals. Your contribution will directly impact our business development efforts, ensuring we remain a trusted partner in the engineering sector.
Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze customer inquiries, technical specifications, and RFQs to determine the optimal engineering solutions and design configurations.
- Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals, cost estimations, and quotation documents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations and clarify proposal details with clients to secure contract wins and resolve any technical queries.
- Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients, partners, and vendors in the region.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new application opportunities and improve proposal strategies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in application engineering, proposal development, or technical sales within the engineering sector.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with keen attention to detail for cost estimations and technical sizing.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight proposal deadlines.
