Eastern Oriental Singapore is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding) to join our growing team. In this commission-based role, you will be instrumental in driving new business and expanding our market presence within the logistics industry. We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable engaging in cold calling and conducting client visits to identify and secure new business opportunities.
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts, supporting tender submissions, and building strong relationships with key vendors. You will analyze market trends to identify potential leads and convert them into long-term partnerships. Tanggung Jawab
- Drive new business acquisition through proactive cold calling and direct client visits.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to contribute to company revenue.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts to maximize retention and revenue.
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders, proposals, and commercial quotations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify new leads and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or transport.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a commission-based environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed and close deals.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Valid driver's license is an advantage.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation is a plus.
