Are you a seasoned sales leader with a background in industrial solutions? Our client, a prestigious leader in the industrial adhesive sector with nearly 50 years of manufacturing excellence in Malaysia, is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to join their team in Penang.
In this pivotal role, you will work directly with the Managing Director to spearhead market expansion, cultivate high-value client relationships, and drive revenue growth across the Northern region. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage a long-standing legacy of quality while implementing modern sales strategies to capture new industrial opportunities.
We are looking for a strategic thinker who is as comfortable in the boardroom as they are on the factory floor. If you have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in B2B industrial environments and are ready to take ownership of a growing territory, we want to hear from you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Collaborate directly with the Managing Director to define and execute the long-term sales strategy for the Northern region.
- Identify and penetrate new market segments for industrial adhesives, expanding the company's regional footprint.
- Manage and nurture existing key accounts to ensure long-term retention and maximize lifetime value.
- Conduct professional sales presentations and technical consultations for diverse industrial clients.
- Analyze regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product development and pricing strategies.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and monthly reports to track performance against KPIs.
- Provide technical support and training to clients regarding application and performance of adhesive solutions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales within the industrial, chemical, or manufacturing sectors.
- Deep understanding of the industrial adhesive or specialty chemicals market in Malaysia.
- Proven ability to manage high-stakes negotiations and close complex industrial contracts.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales pipeline management and CRM software.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malay (proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage given the local market).
- Ability to travel frequently within the Northern region to meet clients and prospects.
