We are on a mission to make sustainable transportation accessible and exciting, and we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our dynamic team in Kuching.
In this critical leadership role, you will drive sales performance, develop strategic initiatives, and foster a customer-centric culture. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and test drives to vehicle delivery and aftersales follow-up. Your deep understanding of the automotive landscape, combined with a passion for EVs, will be instrumental in educating customers and building trust in the Proton e.MAS brand.
As a key member of the management team, you will collaborate closely with marketing, finance, and service departments to ensure a seamless customer journey. You will analyze market trends, manage inventory, set ambitious yet achievable targets, and mentor your team to exceed their goals. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets for Proton e.MAS vehicles.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes to maximize showroom traffic and conversion rates.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the Proton e.MAS product lineup, EV technology, and competitive landscape.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met throughout the sales journey, from initial inquiry to aftersales support.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute promotional campaigns, events, and test drive initiatives to generate qualified leads.
- Monitor sales metrics, prepare performance reports, and present data-driven insights to the management team.
- Manage inventory levels, vehicle allocation, and showroom display standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, fleet operators, and corporate partners in Sarawak.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive market, preferably with exposure to EV or hybrid vehicles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Possess a valid driver's license (D class) with a clean driving record.
- Willing to be based in Kuching, Sarawak and work on weekends/public holidays as required.
