The Role: Sales Manager, Reflective Solutions

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager for Reflective Solutions to lead our business in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. In this critical role, you will own the direct marketing and sales activities for our high-performance reflective sheeting portfolio and related safety devices. Your primary mission is to drive market share, cultivate key customer relationships, and identify untapped opportunities within the transportation and road safety sectors. This role reports directly to the Regional Sales Director and is based at our Semenyih facility.

Key Objectives

Your primary focus will be to develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan that exceeds revenue targets. You will engage directly with government bodies, traffic authorities, major road contractors, and a network of distributors and fabricators. Your deep understanding of the reflective materials landscape will help us continue to innovate safety standards across Southeast Asia.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Reflective Sheeting solutions across Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia to achieve ambitious revenue and market share goals.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key distributors, channel partners, and end-users including government agencies, traffic authorities, and road contractors.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in road safety, transportation, and industrial applications by promoting Avery Dennison's advanced reflective technologies.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitor tracking, and territory reporting to identify emerging trends, pricing shifts, and strategic threats.
  • Collaborate with technical services and product management teams to deliver exceptional customer training, application support, and specification consultations.
  • Lead contract negotiations, prepare compelling proposals, and secure long-term agreements with strategic accounts.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop localized go-to-market campaigns, trade show strategies, and high-quality lead generation initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, manage budgets, and diligently track all activities and pipeline opportunities within the CRM system.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in industrial materials, preferably within the reflective sheeting, road safety, traffic management, or signage industries.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex, multi-channel sales cycles within the ASEAN region (MY, SG, INDO).
  • Established network within the reflective sheeting ecosystem including fabricators, sign shops, road contractors, and government transport agencies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, or Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 50%) within the assigned territory.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and financial metrics to drive business decisions.
  • Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global matrix environment.
