My client, a premier Multinational Corporation (MNC) renowned for its cutting-edge Thin Film Coating solutions, is actively seeking a driven and technically proficient Sales Manager to join their dynamic team in the West Region. This is a highly strategic role, offering the chance to partner with a market leader and drive significant business growth in the Thin Film Industry Coating sector.

About the Role:
As the Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of the sales cycle for high-value technical accounts in the Semiconductor and Data Storage industries. You will develop and implement aggressive growth strategies, identify new business opportunities, and cultivate long-term partnerships with key decision-makers across engineering, operations, and procurement. Your ability to translate complex technical specifications for Vacuum Coating into compelling value propositions will make you the trusted advisor to our clients.

This position requires an individual with a robust network within the semiconductor and data storage manufacturing ecosystem. You must possess an in-depth understanding of Thin Film deposition, vacuum systems, and the specific requirements of the SSD, HDD, and MDS industries. Experience selling into these sectors is critical for success.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for Thin Film / Vacuum Coating products targeted at the semiconductor, data storage (SSD/HDD), and MDS sectors.
  • Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities with OEMs and key accounts in the assigned West Region territory.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, technical presentations, proposal development, to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including engineering, procurement, and C-level executives.
  • Collaborate with the technical support and R&D teams to provide customized Thin Film Coating solutions for specific client requirements.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs, providing regular forecast reports and market intelligence to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical seminars to enhance brand presence and generate qualified leads.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies within the semiconductor and vacuum coating industry to maintain a competitive edge.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science) or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of proven sales experience in the Thin Film, Semiconductor, or Vacuum Coating industry.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Thin Film Coating processes, vacuum systems, and materials science.
  • Proven track record and established network in selling into the SSD, HDD, or MDS (Magnetic Data Storage) sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Strong network of contacts within the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem in Singapore and the broader APAC region.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus for interfacing with regional headquarters.
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen, capable of working independently and managing complex, long-cycle technical sales deals.
  • Willingness to travel within the West Region and occasionally overseas for client meetings and industry events.
