Tanggung Jawab

  • Lead and contribute to research and development projects focused on integrated photonics, with a specific emphasis on Thin-Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) platforms.
  • Design, simulate, and optimize novel TFLN-based photonic devices for various applications (e.g., modulators, detectors, waveguides).
  • Develop and execute advanced semiconductor fabrication processes for TFLN devices in a cleanroom environment, including lithography, etching, and deposition.
  • Conduct comprehensive optical and electrical characterization of fabricated devices to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis, interpret experimental results, and provide technical insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external academic/industrial partners.
  • Prepare technical reports, patent applications, and publish research findings in high-impact scientific journals and present at international conferences.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior researchers and students within the team.

Kualifikasi

  • PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Optical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Proven expertise and hands-on experience in integrated photonics, silicon photonics, or specifically Thin-Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) device research and development.
  • Strong background in semiconductor device physics, optoelectronics, and nanofabrication techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience with cleanroom processes, including photolithography, e-beam lithography, dry/wet etching, and thin-film deposition (e.g., PECVD, sputtering).
  • Proficiency in photonic device simulation software (e.g., Lumerical, COMSOL, FDTD) and data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with optical characterization setups and techniques (e.g., fiber coupling, spectrum analysis, interferometry, RF testing of modulators).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a strong publication record in relevant peer-reviewed journals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
