As a SEA Freight Officer, you will be the backbone of our international shipping operations. You will interact with various stakeholders, including shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients, to ensure that cargo moves seamlessly across borders. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the end-to-end sea freight booking process, including rate checking and space confirmation.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, such as Bills of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to track shipment status and resolve any delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo movements and update the company's logistics management system.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on shipment progress and address inquiries.
- Assist in the customs clearance process and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the sea freight department's daily operations.
Kualifikasi
- GCE 'O' or 'A' Level qualification, preferably with a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Transport & Distribution.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in sea freight, shipping, or logistics.
- Strong understanding of shipping terminology, Incoterms, and documentation procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software (e.g., Oracle, TMS) is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
