Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and monitor the daily seafreight operational activities to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Manage booking requests with shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas agents to ensure cargo movement meets scheduled timelines.
- Prepare and process essential shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Invoices, and Packing Lists, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
- Monitor shipment status from origin to destination and proactively resolve any logistics bottlenecks or delays.
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal departments, and external vendors regarding shipment updates and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate data entry in the internal logistics management system to ensure real-time visibility.
- Assist in cost-management initiatives by optimizing freight routes and negotiating competitive rates with service providers.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in seafreight operations or freight forwarding.
- Strong working knowledge of international trade regulations, customs clearance procedures, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics management software.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in Mandarin is considered a strong asset.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a customer-centric mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities.
