From humble beginnings as a tug and barge operator, the Company has transformed into a strong regional player in the Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Second Engineer to join our dynamic technical team. As a Second Engineer, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and Deck officers to ensure all machinery is maintained in peak condition. Our vessels operate in some of the most challenging environments, requiring a commitment to safety and technical proficiency. You will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery, conducting daily engine room inspections, and ensuring full compliance with international maritime regulations (MARPOL, SOLAS) and company safety policies.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of main and auxiliary machinery onboard OSVs.
- Conduct daily inspections of engine room equipment to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Ensure strict compliance with company safety policies, international maritime regulations, and environmental protection standards.
- Maintain accurate engineering logs, maintenance records, and reports as required by statutory surveys.
- Participate in emergency drills, fire fighting, and vessel safety rounds regularly.
- Supervise junior crew members and coordinate with external contractors during dry docking or maintenance periods.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Second Engineer CoC (Certificate of Competency) Class 2 or Class 3 (STCW).
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of seagoing experience on Offshore Support Vessels, Tugs, or similar vessels.
- Proficiency in English language (written and spoken) is essential for international operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, valves, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, adhere to strict safety protocols, and work in shifts.
