Tanggung Jawab
- Assist Chief Engineer in supervising daily operations of vessel propulsion and auxiliary systems
- Monitor engine performance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Oversee fuel consumption optimization and emission control systems
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for engineering departments
- Train and mentor junior engineering staff on safety protocols and technical procedures
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and Class Society regulations
- Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation for regulatory audits
Kualifikasi
- Certificate of Competency as Second Engineer (Class II) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience in offshore support vessel operations
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical power generation
- Familiarity with automation systems (PLC, SCADA) and remote monitoring technologies
- Valid STCW certification and medical fitness for maritime service
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia for technical documentation
- Problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure in isolated environments
