We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Second Engineer to join our expanding fleet in Indonesia.
As a Second Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the technical success of our offshore operations. You will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery, ensuring full compliance with international maritime regulations and company safety standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of the engine room.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on main propulsion engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of engine room operations, bunker logs, and maintenance activities.
- Supervise engine room ratings and junior staff to ensure safe working practices.
- Monitor and manage fuel, oil, and spare parts inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with MARPOL, SOLAS, and all relevant Class/Flag state requirements.
- Participate in emergency drills and maintain all safety and fire-fighting equipment.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) Class 2 or 3 (Marine Engineer Officer).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sea-going experience, specifically on Offshore Support Vessels (AHTS, PSV, or similar).
- Comprehensive knowledge of vessel engine systems and offshore technical operations.
- Current STCW certification and a valid medical certificate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex marine systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural crew.
- Proven ability to perform under pressure in challenging offshore environments.
