Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee maintenance and operation of main engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary machinery
- Monitor engine performance diagnostics and troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical issues
- Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL)
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with technical procurement teams
- Lead engineering watch rotations and supervise junior technical staff
- Document maintenance logs and prepare technical reports for regulatory audits
- Collaborate with shore-based technical teams for system optimization
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related technical field
- Valid Second Engineer Class 2 Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Minimum 3 years experience on offshore vessels or similar platforms
- Proficiency in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and power generation
- Familiarity with automation systems (PLC, SCADA) and control systems
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and failure analysis
- Valid STCW certification and basic firefighting/first aid qualifications
